All required rent-a-car insurances
All required rent-a-car insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) are included in our rent-a-car rates. The vehicle's rent-a-car insurance is subject to an insurance excess value : When you collect the rent-a-car at Prague Airport, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the rent-a-car excess : (Depending on the type of car you select) between EUR 800.00 and EUR 1200.00. Providing you return the vehicle undamaged at the end of the rent-a-car, this value is returned to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the rent-a-car vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the rent-a-car insurance excess value. The insurance excess for each car at Prague Airport is explained in detail in our section What's Not Included?
Local rent-a-car taxes & airport charges.
Our rent-a-car rates at Prague Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (19.00% in Czech Republic).
Arrival times for your rent-a-car.
Our rent-a-car rates include service on arrival at Prague Airport within normal office hours (08:00-21:00). If your flight arrives outside these times, there is a surcharge of EUR 20.00. This rent-a-car surcharge is payable locally on arrival at Prague Airport.

Fuel is not included at Prague Airport!
The fuel that you consume during your rent-a-car is obviously not included in our our published rent-a-car rates! On arrival at the Prague Airport rent-a-car station, you will collect the rent-a-car vehicle with a full tank of fuel against a credit card deposit. At the end of the rent-a-car, return the rent-a-car vehicle with a full tank to Prague Airport to get a refund.
Insurance Excess deposit.
As explained above in What's Included, the rent-a-car vehicle's insurance at Prague Airport is subject to an rent-a-car insurance excess deposit (depending on the type of rent-a-car vehicle you select) between EUR 800.00 and EUR 1200.00. Providing you return the rent-a-car vehicle undamaged, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the rent-a-car vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the deposit paid.

Lost rent-a-car vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the rent-a-car vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 150.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday rent-a-car at Prague Airport may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your rent-a-car vehicle. Please take good care of the rent-a-car vehicle key while you're on holiday in Czech Republic!
Using the wrong fuel type for your rent-a-car vehicle.
Putting gasoline into a diesel car (or vice versa) requires the engine to be stripped down and cleaned. If you put the wrong fuel into the rent-a-car vehicle at Prague Airport, expect a hefty garage bill and several days with your car "off-the-road" while the car is repaired.
Blow-outs are at your own risk
If you have a puncture during the rental the car hire company will hold you responsible for the repair/replacement cost. All our cars are delivered with a road-worthy set of tyres which are inspected prior to each delivery. Typically, bad parking or driving off-road are the most common causes of punctures during a rental period.
Off-road or negligent use.
Our rent-a-car vehicles at Prague Airport are rented for use on the public highways of Czech Republic. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the rent-a-car vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Prague Airport (we have had occasion to have to lift rent-a-car vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your rent-a-car vehicle at Prague Airport are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Czech Republic, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the rent-a-car vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the rent-a-car vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the rent-a-car vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle's underside. Damage to the vehicle's underside is the responsibility of the renter. Although a very rare ocurrance, damage caused by driving off-road, impacts from rocks or other items to the underside can cause considerable damage to the vehicle. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for the repair costs.

Infant Seats
Infant seats are suitable for new-born babies until approximately 6 months of age. Infant seats are normally available on rent-a-car vehicles from Prague Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.60 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Prague Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your rent-a-car.
Baby
Baby seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Seats are supplied for rent-a-car vehicles from Prague Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.60 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Prague Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your rent-a-car.
Additional Drivers
You may add additional drivers to your rent-a-car on arrival in Prague Airport. These are payable locally at Prague Airport at EUR 18.00 per rental.
Buy-out of the Vehicle's Insurance Excess
The rent-a-car vehicles at Prague Airport are sold with an insurance excess. This is explained in the section Whats's Not Included? above. Instead of leaving a credit card deposit to cover your rent-a-car insurance excess at Prague Airport, you may opt to purchase additional insurance locally to "buy-out" the excess value - effectively removing your liability for vehicle bodywork damage. This option, depending on the rent-a-car vehicle selected, costs between EUR 32.00 and EUR 32.00 per per day. You do not need to prebook insurance excess buy-out, simply decide and pay locally on arrival at the rent-a-car station in Prague Airport when you arrive in Czech Republic. Purchasing insurance excess buy-out is not a "licence to kill" and you will still be responsible for items like tyre, wheel, glasss or damage to the underside of the rent-a-car vehicle. The rent-a-car company may still require you to leave a credit card imprint to cover extensions to your rent-a-car contract or traffic fines. See our section What's Not Included for further details.
Out-of-hours charges at Prague Airport
For arrivals at Prague Airport outside of normal office hours (08:00-21:00), there is a supplement of EUR 20.00 payable on arrival in Czech Republic. For arrivals late at night you must provide us with your arrival flight number into Prague Airport so the local rent-a-car station can coordinate it's office hours at Prague Airport.
